It’s almost here. March 17 signifies the beginning of this year’s Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. Time for the big boys to come out to play.
Lewis Hamilton will be looking to back up last season’s performance with another victory but as always he will be facing stiff competition from Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen, Daniel Ricciardo, and Max Verstappen.
Will he be able to go back to back, or are we going to see the infamous Ricciardo ‘shoey’ make a return should he be victorious on home soil?
With only three-thousandths of a second splitting Vettel and Hamilton following pre-season testing, it looks like once again it will be a hotly contested event that you won’t want to miss.
Thankfully there is a way to view the F1 Australian GP and other sporting events from down under for minimal cost.
Where To Watch The Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix Without Paying For A Streaming Service
TenPlay is a free streaming service that plays content broadcast from Australia’s channel 10. TenPlay will be streaming the entire F1 Australian GP.
However, the TenPlay service is only available within Australia. The way around this is through using a VPN.
So, in this instance, you would connect your VPN to any server within Australia and you can watch the Grand Prix unrestricted through TenPlay.
Where To Get A VPN?
Online, you can find many VPNs, all of varying price and functionality. Personally, I believe your best bet is with either ExpressVPN or NordVPN as I believe these two are your greatest value for money.
ExpressVPN is slightly more expensive, however, it has a greater range of servers across the globe as well as a 30-day risk-free trial and 24/7 customer service. If you plan on streaming sports from all over the world, this would be your best choice.
If you plan on live streaming events less frequently, then maybe the cheaper option of NordVPN would be your best fit. Regardless, do the research and decide which VPN is best for you.

Let me know your thoughts on the upcoming event. Who will win? Will there be any shock results?
Vettel’s teammate Charles Leclerc has been receiving a lot of support and whispers are about that he might surprise.
As a fellow West Australian, I hope Ricciardo can pull something out of the hat and come out victorious. Perhaps he will toughen up and find an old gumboot to satisfy his thirst this time instead of a shoe. Driving all day can become thirsty work.
