VPNTraffic: Will the cheap pricing affect its features?
VPN services are used for many different reasons. Like in any other industry, as long as there are numerous reliable VPN service providers, there are also those that don’t really deliver the best of services and happen to be unreliable. Therefore, doing your research is extremely vital when it comes to choosing a VPN service.
VPNTraffic has been operating in the industry for quite some time now; however, the company hasn’t gained much recognition in the market. Could this be because of substandard features and services?

How Much is VPNTraffic? Is There a Free Trial?
VPNTraffic offers five different pricing plans: the 3-day plan priced at $1.99, 1 month plan priced at $5, 3 months plan priced at $10, 1 year plan priced at $35, and 2 years plan priced at $50. It is worth mentioning that the pricing of this VPN service belongs to the list of the most affordable VPN services we have reviewed before. However, it does concern us that this reduced pricing could reflect in the quality of features and services offered by the VPN.
When it comes to pricing methods, VPNTraffic accepts PayPal, credit cards, and different cryptocurrencies to help users maintain their anonymity.
VPNTraffic Speed Test
One great aspect about VPNTraffic is their vast network of servers. The VPN service has servers located in more than 60 countries around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Canada, Italy, Russia, Malaysia, Austria, Australia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and a lot more. With such a vast network and no bandwidth limitations, the service can deliver satisfactory speeds, which we found were consistent throughout. The speeds should be enough for anyone looking to stream videos or engage in torrenting or P2P downloads.
How is Customer Service at VPNTraffic?
VPNTraffic mentions on their website that they offer 24/7 online customer support. They proceed by saying, “You can trust us! Don’t buy a VPN account from a company that hasn’t established itself yet”. After reading such a strong statement, your obvious expectation would be top class customer service options and customer service from the company. Well, sorry to disappoint you, because this statement is highly misleading.
The only way you can contact the VPN service is by sending them an email, and response to this could take as long as 12 hours. The response that we received for our query was rather unhelpful. They do have an FAQ page; however, it is not very comprehensive. The only saving grace could be their setup guides.
The website of VPNTraffic is one of the worst you will ever see from a VPN service. Yes, it is really that bad. There is absolutely nothing good we can say about the design and layout of the service’s website. It is way too clumsy and finding information is hard. Being basic is one thing, but this one is completely unattractive and unprofessional.
Registering the VPN service, however, it is similar to most other VPN services. You will be asked to enter your email address and preferred password to register, before proceeding to purchase the plan of your choice.
VPNTraffic can be used on the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS, Symbian, iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile. The VPN service supports PPTP and L2TP protocols, of which the latter is supported only in a few servers. Also, the service allows only one connection per user account.
There really isn’t more to talk about regarding the features offered by the VPN service. It enables unlimited usage, provides anonymity, provides access to all its servers, has no bandwidth limitations, which sums up everything you get from VPNTraffic.
Is VPNTraffic Safe?
Security is another area where VPNTraffic just proves to be a substandard VPN service provider. As mentioned before, the VPN service supports only PPTP and L2TP VPN protocols, and L2TP is supported only in certain servers. Both these protocols are not the safest option available today, which simply means that you need to compromise your security when using the service, which isn’t ideal. And, there isn’t any other exclusive security feature offered by the service.
All in all, VPNTraffic is not a VPN service we would recommend, not even for new users. There is a lot of areas where the company should focus on improving, and this obviously requires a lot of investment in terms of time, money and efforts. If you are attracted by the cheap pricing of the VPN service, your attraction is likely to end there.
